Why we exist
Australia has the resources to help every young person thrive — but too many teenagers still fall through the cracks. They don't know who to call, what a Centrelink letter means, how to write a resume, or how to ask for help when everything feels heavy.
Still Here Youths is a free, mobile-first platform that meets young people where they already are — on their phone — and walks with them through the skills, support and connections that make the next chapter of life possible.

Our values
Every program is free for young people. Cost should never be the barrier.
We align with the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and take every safety concern seriously.
Our content references peer-reviewed sources (WHO, AIHW, headspace, Beyond Blue, APA).
We support — we don't replace — qualified professionals and government services.
We listen to young people and adapt as they tell us what they need.
We are not a government agency. We stay independent so we can advocate for young people.
How we deliver it
- Still Here Youths Academy — free courses across mentality, physical, social and (optional) spiritual growth.
- Ember AI — a warm, safety-aware AI companion that surfaces Australian crisis lines when needed.
- Community & mentoring — safe, moderated peer support with human moderators.
- Live workshops — Sahr Ellie and the SHY team visit schools, churches, clubs and community groups, free of charge for young people.
- Referrals — direct pathways to trusted Australian services when a young person needs a qualified professional.
